Equality of Age: The LGBT Way
The lives of LGBT people have changed significantly in recent decades. Where there was once criminalisation there are now diverse and vibrant communities. LGBT people still face significant barriers when it comes to housing, health, recreation, transport and access to other services but these can be further increased because of age discrimination. Younger and older LGBT people are often discriminated against and even ignored by service providers. Equality of Age - the LGBT way will explore the issues and identify solutions for Scotland’s LGBT communities.
