Scottish Police Forces mark LGBT History Month
26/01/2010

Supported by the association of Police Officers in Scotland and the Gay Police Association, every police station across Scotland will display a arinbow sticker, and mark LGBT History Month.

Scotlands police forces have been working hard to tackle homophobia, and many areas now have a remote reporting scheme in place, whereby people who have experienced homophobia or transphobia can report crime via an agency or on-line. This can inform intelligence and provide a better picture of the actual experiences of LGBT people across Scotland.

For more information look up the equalities section of your local police force.
