LGBT History Month is held annually in February as a showcase of the histories of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people and their associated lives and struggles. Last February saw nearly 200 events accross Scotland ranging from exhibitions to story-telling events, to film screenings, to LGBT nights in pubs and clubs. If you've organised an activity to celebrate LGBT History Month let us know and we'll get it live on our website.
We endeavour to bring you the latest news from around the world on LGBT struggles and related issues.
We realise it can sometime be hard to find resources to help you celebrate lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender histories. We have made available posters, logo's, documents and flyers for events for you to download and use. Should you find anything and you'd like to share it with others please do get in touch. view RESOURCES section here
Lastly, we'd like to draw your attention to our pictures and videos section. Please use this for your enjoyment and to share with others your event or activity in celebration of LGBT History Month.

Message from Elaine Chalmers, Head of Childline Scotland "LGBT History Month is a great way of celebrating the lives of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender people. The ChildLine helpline, 0800 1111, is here for any child or young person who wants to talk about anything that affects them. We know from the calls that we receive that many young people still feel worried about or isolated by their sexuality and we are working with a number of partners to address the issues that young people face, such as homophobic bullying. ChildLine fully supports initiatives, such as LGBT History Month, which highlight the full part that LGBT people play in Scotland's past, present and future."
