Transition Support Course

The course will provide safe and supportive opportunities to learn more about your options and rights, meet and connect with other trans people, share your experiences and take part in confidence building workshops. We recognise that everyone’s journey is different. The course is not designed to tell you how to transition, but rather to give you space and time to think about your identity, how to keep yourself well and to equip you with information about your options.

The course will be facilitated by Jules Stapleton Barnes from the Lothian Transgender Support Programme, with support from our Mental Health Development Worker, Alison Wren and James Morton from the Scottish Trans Alliance.

Lunch and refreshments will be provided both days. The course takes place in Edinburgh but is open to anyone, wherever you are based. Please note participants will need to make their own way to and from the venue.
