Every February, Scotland celebrates LGBT History Month – a chance to connect and to reflect on the past and present of the LGBT community.
Since 2007, LGBT History Month has been coordinated by
LGBT Youth Scotland. Each year has a different theme, and the LGBT Charter team develops learning activities and assemblies to help schools get involved.
This year's theme is all about Blurring Borders – putting the focus on LGBT rights and history around the world, the challenges faced by LGBTQ+ migrants, and the ways in which we can support and learn from each other.

LGBT History Month is a great opportunity to celebrate LGBT culture and progress towards equality over time, and to explore what the lessons of history can teach us for the future.
We hope lots of schools around Scotland will get involved - be sure to let us know by tagging
