Arts, Crafts and HIV: A Zine-Making Workshop
SX, Waverley Care's service for gay and bisexual men and all men who have sex with men across Scotland, will host a zine-making workshop for LGBT History Month.
Creativity and the arts have been a key part of the response to HIV and AIDS; from public health campaigns, to activism, and helping with grief.
Explore your own creativity by hearing about this heritage from Francis Osis (Community Heritage Officer) and creating your own contribution to a zine informed by knowledge about HIV from Oliver Wain (Health Improvement Coordinator).
The full collaborative zine will be added to Waverley Care’s archives.
This event will be hosted online via Zoom and is open to everybody.
SX is sex-positive and support GBMSM communities, including trans men, with their sexual health, mental health, substance use and wellbeing.
This event is possible thanks to the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
