FIT, 2010
Rikki Beadle Blair
Running time 1 hour, 48 minutes
8 February–10 March 2019

GoMA will have a continuous run of FIT as part of the queer times school prints exhibition. We welcome all LGBTQ+ people and allies to come and watch this wonderful film.

FIT began as a theatre project backed by Stonewall – a UK Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender rights charity – that toured schools, playing to 20,000 people before being developed as a film. FIT focuses on the experience of, and attitudes towards, sexuality among students of a sixth-form college drama class, and questions assumptions, stereotypes and bullying in this environment.

FIT is now used as an educational resource and was distributed to every school in the UK by Stonewall to support them in tackling homophobic, biphobic and transphobic bullying in education environments and help create more inclusive spaces.
