Have your say: Gender Recognition bill

The proposals for reform of the Gender Recognition Act affect trans people and LGBTI communities across Scotland, and it is important that your views are heard.

Equality Network and Scottish Trans Alliance are holding four special LGBTI consultation events – including this one in Inverness – to hear your views on:

    •  Application periods for Gender Recognition Certificates
    • The period of reflection
    • Extending Gender Recognition to young people
    • The inclusion of non-binary people

The event will last around 2 hours and refreshments will be available. We ask participants to register to help us ensure accessibility and when ordering refreshments.

Travel expenses can be paid where the cost of travel is a barrier to participation.

All events are open to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex people and their family/friends.
