Our Tribe film screening: 'Kenyan, Christian and Queer'
Our Tribe, the LGBTQI+ ministry at Augustine United Church, will host an online screening of a short film 'Kenyan, Christian and Queer'.
This is a joint ministry with the worldwide denomination of Metropolitan Community Church.
All LGBTQI+ folks are welcome – friends, family and allies.
You do not need to have been before or be a member of a church to come along. Our Tribe welcomes everyone who is seeking to follow an inclusive life journey.
We will have the opportunity to watch the short film called and reflect on the stories of our queer Christians siblings in Kenya. The film tells the story of the Cosmopolitan Affirming Community Church in Nairobi.
