Turn South Lanarkshire purple!

Councillor Fiona Dryburgh wants your help to light South Lanarkshire Purple for LGBT Youth Scotland's Purple Friday.

Come along, wear purple and we will upload photos to twitter using #Purplemap in support of the campaign. All are welcome! This day is all about taking action; standing for equality and inclusion and helping us make Scotland the best place for LGBTI+ young people to grow up.

Politicians from all parties, alongside members of the LGBTI+ community both young and old, LGBTI+ allies, and local businesses will be attending. We want you to join our team at various landmarks. We will then take a photo of those involved and tweet it using the hashtag #PurpleMap. LGBT Youth Scotland will pin the photo to their map of Scotland. When a local authority gets 25 purple pins on the map, that part of the map will turn purple.

We want to turn South Lanarkshire purple!
